The Blairgowrie Rotary Classic Car Tour will be held on Sunday 25 April, 2021 and is organised by the Rotary Club of Blairgowrie. The event will start at Blairgowrie Golf Club, Golf Course Road, Rosemount, Blairgowrie, Perthshire, PH10 6LG and end at Atholl Palace Hotel, Pitlochry, Perthshire, PH16 5LX. Lunch will be taken at Craigsanquhar Hotel, Logie, Fife KY15 4PZ
All Vintage, Historic and Classic Cars, including Modern Sports Cars are welcome. Entries are limited to a maximum of 100 cars.
Entries open on 13th November 2020 and close on 6th April, 2021 or when 100 entries have been received. Entries are on a first come first served basis. There will be NO ENTRY FEE for what is promised to be a day of fun and fellowship amongst like-minded classic car enthusiasts. However all entrants are asked to MAKE A DONATION OF AT LEAST £50.00 per car (ask your friends and family/business colleagues to sponsor your car or you may prefer to make a personal donation) which is to be donated to the Rotary Club of Blairgowrie Benevolent Fund (Scottish Charity Account No SC007681) for distribution to three principal charities – Alzheimer Scotland, Bowel Cancer UK and Rotary International
Donations can be increased in value by 25% if you are a UK tax payer and tick the Gift Aid Box when completing the Sponsorship Form. Note you must include your home postcode for this to be effective.
The sponsorship form together with the monies collected can be sent to Rotary Club of Blairgowrie Benevolent Fund, c/o Malcolm Davidson, The Steading, Easter Myreriggs, Coupar Angus, PH13 9HS or by bank transfer to TSB, 87-44-05 Account No. 72378768. We will also be collecting at registration on the day.

Route Navigation and Driving Behaviour
The route will be on public A and B class and unclassified roads. The route will be defined by Tulip diagrams. A Road Book and Map will be provided. Participants must at all times comply with the requirements of the Road Traffic Acts and drive in a responsible and considerate manner. Please remember other road users, cyclists, walkers and livestock.
There is no driving competition, so no special qualifications are needed. A full UK driving licence is required
Insurance is the sole responsibility of the driver. Normally no special insurance is required for a Classic Car Tour, however you are advised to check with your Insurance provider whether you will be covered for this type of event. A minimum of Third Party Insurance for all persons who will drive participating vehicles must be applicable for the duration of the event.
The car must be taxed, have an MOT Certificate (if applicable) and a Certificate of Insurance. The Driver will be required to sign a declaration confirming the car is insured and both Driver and Passengers are required to sign a Declaration indemnifying the Organisers from liability.
General Data Protection Regulations
Information from the Entry Form form, namely Entrant’s Name, Email address, Address town, Car make and Car Registration, will be held on computer and used for the administration of the Rotary Club of Blairgowrie Classic Car Tour 2020 and we will retain this information for 18 months. Should we decide to hold a similar event in 2021 we will want to use your above contact details to draw your attention to that event. If you are content with we ask that you tick the box on the Entry Form. None of the information will be divulged to third parties.
These will be sent out about one week before the Tour accompanied by a list of entrants.
